Zoom Integration Documentation

Enabling the Integration

To start using Briefly Zoom integration, please follow these step-by-step instructions:

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to the Briefly Web App
  2. Sign up or log in to your Briefly account
  3. Navigate to Integrations in Settings and click "Manage" button in the Zoom settings section
  4. Connect Google Calendar to your Briefly account if you haven't done so already

Configuring your Zoom Settings in Briefly

Before using Briefly for Zoom, users must configure their settings:

  1. From the Zoom Integration Settings page in Briefly, select "Invite as Needed" or "Automatic Attendance" for the Zoom bot

Adding Briefly Bot to a Calendar Event

  1. If you have selected "Invite as Needed", invite bot@brieflyai.com to the calendar event you want to transcribe.
  2. If you have selected "Automatic Attendance", Briefly Bot will join all the Zoom calls in your calendar automatically.
  3. In your Google Calendar, make sure to install the Zoom app from the Google Workspace Marketplace.

When you are ready, join your Zoom call and Briefly Bot will be present on the meeting and will transcribe your call as long as captions are turned on (How to turn on captions in Zoom).

Removing Zoom Integration

If you want to stop Briefly Bot from attending your meetings:

  1. From the Zoom Integration Settings page in Briefly, select "Invite as Needed"
  2. Remove bot@brieflyai.com from all your Google Calendar events
